Lotus Air a leading charter airline based in Cairo, Egypt, and one of the first privet airlines in the Middle East and North Africa region to operate. The airline was established in 1997 by Al-Fawares Holding Company and commenced operations in 1998, our main businesses are Charter Operations, Ad-hoc flights, ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) Operation, Damp Lease, Technical services, Ground Handling, and Crew Training. Our hubs are strategically located in the resort areas around Egypt mainly in Sharm El-Shikh, Hardugah, and Luxor.
Our Safety record, performance, and reliability of our airline is due to our maintenance department constant development and training, our aircraft are being inspected and maintained by major MRO`s (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) providers such as Lufthansa Technics in Germany and SRT in Ireland, our airline was the first airline in Egypt to receive EASA standards maintenance certification, and IOSA certification (IATA Operational Safety Audit), We currently technically handle major airlines that operate to Egypt such Qatar airways, Air Arabia, Iberworld (Spain) and Livingston (Italy). Our performance and reliability of our airline was recognized by Airbus as one of the best A320 operators in the world. |
